Section 01
What we review
- Your contractor's quote or BOQ — quantities, unit rates, and category totals — benchmarked against our quarterly market rate database.
- Scope completeness: we check whether the quote covers structural, finishes, MEP, and indirects, or whether critical items are quietly missing.
- Rate sanity: per-sq.ft. and per-category rates compared to current local market rates, with over- and under-pricing flagged with reasons.

What we flag
- Inflated line items — rates significantly above market with no justification — highlighted with the market reference rate beside them.
- Missing scope — items a build of this type requires but the quote omits, which become cost surprises mid-project.
- Under-priced bait — line items priced implausibly low, often a sign of a quote that won't be honoured at delivery.

Neutral by design

- The review is conducted by a qualified QS and signed off by a civil PM, the same standard as a full Technical Estimate.
